What Personal Information About Users Does 9128 Gather?
9128 does not require you to provide us with any personally identifiable information to use this Service.
When connecting to the 9128 stream, your IP address will be sent to our radio service provider (radio.co) in order for us to track listening trends and provide licensing bodies with royalty reports. Once our service provider receives your IP it is immediately anonymized, deleted and becomes untraceable. This data is never sold on or passed to other companies.
The 9128 App for iOS does not collect personal data. The iOS app communicates with our provider Radio.co's servers to load App preferences and connect to the audio stream. The 9128 iOS App does not collect any user data when installed or launched on your iOS device.
The 9128 iOS app does not use third party services that collect information used to identify you.
The 9128 Android App does not collect any user data during use. In order to provide audio control during Phone App use, the App will monitor the 'state' of the phone App (Idle, in call, call ended) if applicable on your device. At no point will the App be able to listen in or derive phone numbers or data.
The Android App also requires access to local storage. This is to store its configuration for faster launch times.
If you choose to contact 9128 using the Contact Form, your email address and any information you submit using this form is sent to 9128. This information is not stored or passed on to third parties in any way and is treated as confidential.
9128 was part-inspired by the need to not use third-party websites that may force you to login or share information. We value your privacy and want to offer a free and secure place to listen to music.
